A wise decision... Help me please!!!?
Q. I'm a member of the band(the one playing lyre and drums) at our school. I'm not a real member because I don't have uniform yet. To have a uniform, you must audition. I observed that my enthusiasm to play the lyre is fading, and every practice gives me everyday worry so I decided to quit. The consequence of quitting is joining the Citizenship Advancement Training that they say is hard. I like both but I only need to choose one. Coming at every band practice makes me hurt because people don't treat me good and the practice eats my time for rest and study. CAT on the other hand is like a torture, but it is a part of the curriculum in Senior Year. Band members are exempted at the CAT. Band is an emotional pain, CAT is physical. What will be… [cont.]

Jobs in europe?
Q. I a Canadian and looking for a permanent full time job in Europe so I can move out of Canada. Where can I find some employers that would be willing to deal with the paperwork to hire a foreigner, that would pay a good wage and would have chance to advancement. I have 10+ years in armature construction helping my family build a house with stone, chord wood, and traditional lumber. We also did the plumbing, solar electrical, wind electrical, heated floors, landscaping, ect. I have 7 years driving as a professional. passenger cars, farm trucks, cargo vans (standard and moving vans), Forklift, a wide range of tractors and other heavy machinery as well as pulling trailers. A. You need to see if any of these countries have a skills shortage in your trades but they will need qualified tradespeople with the certificates to prove it. You could look at OZ or New Zealand as well, language may not be the problem but lack of proper qualifications in your skills may hold you back. Applying to agencies who specializes in recruiting candidates from overseas may get you a job offer, but you may fail the immigration test if your qualifications are not recognized by the country. I have a link to a British ex pats forum, the language spoke is English which is why I refer you there, but you may find a Canadian one as well. The members have either emigrated (worldwide) or are in the process of doing so and they can give you… [cont.]

Do you think my crush might like me?
Q. okay, so i like this boy. he is two years older than me. i liked him since i moved to a new school, i was a junior then and he was a senior. i loved him at first sight. he definitely knows me, and i know him of course. but there's one thing - we don't talk. he's also in my church, but we also don't talk there. okay, so it was around a month before the end of school, and we have this military stuff that we do in school. so i was an aspirant (an aspiring officer to be when i become a senior) and he was an officer. so i was like, okay i'll try and join('coz i might be trained by him). so i was like yeah. i did join. i became an element, and when i passed the mental exam test (those commands you have to do to order cadets/cadettes), i became… [cont.]

A. Hey girl :) Yes, he most definitely likes you!! Go for it girl, life is so short!!! Talk to him at the next opportunity you get...seriously. You won't know if he likes you or not unless you just talk to him. I mean, I understand that you're nervous..but hey, we all were before we talked to our crush, but once you overcome that obstacle of talking to him on your own the first time, you'll be fine and then you'll laugh about it later, trust me. I remember the first time I talked to one of my crushes, I was sooo nervous but I got over it the minute I was bold enough to talk to him. Just go up to him and ask for his number, and then you can text him later. I remember, last saturday, I was at the mall and I was in this store and saw this really… [cont.]

Citizenship Advancement Training... HELP?
Q. I'm from Philippines (Cebu exactly), and I need help about an assignment our Officer gave us. What is the answer when the Officer asks you, "Are you quitting?" And you say something like, "Sir, no, sir. I came from the land where kings are born..." That's the only part I know. Would anyone please, please, please care to help? I'd really appreciate it. (: I'm trying my best to get in. Thanks a lot. :) And if you know some commands/survival tips (LOL) that might help me, please don't hesitate to tell. Thank you so much! :) I'm from Philippines, and I am an aspirant to be a Citizenship Advancement Training (or CAT) Officer. :) Currently, we're still having our training.

A. OK, so you are in the Philippines. Perhaps it would have been better if you provided some detail about the curricular content of Citizenship Advancement Training. That way, people in other countries could have been able to respond better. It is likely that similar courses do exist elsewhere, but probably with different names.

Which of the two is better - community service with a hint of military training or scouting?
Q. The Citizenship Advancement Training in the Philippines includes basic military training and community service. Every session lasts about an hour after school once every week. Scouting on the other hand, meets whenever the leaders like it after school and every Saturday afternoon for three hours.
