"Lose weight"... is it possible that on a subconscious level people fear "losing" or "loss" ? Q. fear of losing or loss results in people not being able to "lose" weight? I know of someone who lost alot of weight in the summer but didn't realize how much until "fall" came and she tried on her jeans. They practically fell right off her. She got scared but didn't know why and immediately started eating as before. She said that it was as if she became a different person and she didn't like it.
